Diabetic Eye Exam

All diabetics must get their eyes examined because high blood sugar can damage the eyes. Patients with diabetes are susceptible to a condition called diabetic retinopathy, which will cause blindness if left untreated. Some people find out they have diabetes from their preventative care eye exams. The sooner diabetes is treated, the more chance you have of saving your vision.
